A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL!
The Hurricane Relief Fund Art & Fine Craft Raffle raised more than $14,000 through donated artwork by regional artists. More than 1200 raffle tickets sold at $10 each. The sale of tickets came from the online raffle website, the Artisans Guild as well as the collaborative efforts of many artists selling tickets to friends, family, at other shows and farmer markets. Included in the total was $830 collected from artists in the Longyear Gallery and the100% of sales from bumper stickers by Lisa Scalf, and more than 100 ceramic houses by Peggy Clarke of the Catskill Mountain Artisans Guild. Special thanks to Barbara Petrini and Barabara Mellon-Kolb for the infinite number of hours they donated to make this event a success. Donations for the Raffle Drawing Community Party came from Wendy Nief and friends, Donatello’s, Fleischmanns Pizza Company, Oakley’s Place, Ommegang Brewery and Steve Yankel from Margaretville Liquors. Winners were from all over. Fundraising efforts continue. All proceeds from the raffle have gone to the MARK Project and have been designated for the flood relief fund and the rebuilding of our communities.
