Any regional artist interested in joining the gallery is welcome to contact us and to have their work reviewed by the Artisans Council. This organization supports the counties of Delaware, Schoharie, Otsego, Greene, Ulster, and Sullivan but has a limited amount of space available for “visiting artists” (outside of region) and “emerging artists” (artists who are developing their craft). Members are required to contribute both rent and working hours while making a six month commitment to the gallery.

Artists are required to fill out an application which is available at the Gallery.  Along with their application, which details all of the items an artist wishes to sell in the gallery, the prospective member must submit 5 items to the jury. In the case of large items, photos are acceptable. The prospective member should expect that their work will be left at the gallery for 1 to 2 weeks so that the Council may examine samples of their work along with their application. The Gallery Manager and member artists who work within the same medium and/or category will be consulted in this process. The final decision will be determined by the Council.
