Enrich your winter
"Art in Common" has much more in store, almost every Saturday afternoon this winter and spring. A collaboration of Artisans Guild and numerous local arts and business organizations, the multi-art offerings are designed to encourage both locals and visitors to stay connected, while conveniently enjoying the arts and shopping in our area. "The Commons building is the perfect spot to gather artisans, performers, writers and friends, so that our visitors can learn about the cultural richness we have to offer and we can enjoy it too," said Catskill guild member Jill Cline. "It's great to have the community and business support to continue the series into the spring."
The “Art in Common” series is presented by the Catskill Mountain Artisans Guild in collaboration with the Mark Project and sponsored by the Central Catskills Chamber of Commerce, The Delaware National Bank of Delhi, MTC, Freshtown, Margaretville Liquor Store, Oakley's Place, Longyear Gallery, Home Goods of Margaretville, Mountain Yarns, M. Gerard Country Home, Little Sprouts, Wildflowers, Red Sparrow Clothing and Portfolio Café. Funded in part by The O'Connor Foundation and the NYSCA Community Arts Funding Program administered in Delaware County by the Roxbury Arts Group. Local food tastings sponsored by the Center for Agricultural Development and Entrepreneurship and the New York Farm Viability Institute, Harry and the Hippie Chic and Maine Black Bear.
